-
A.
All vehicles are late model Chevy Aveos fully marked and equipped with an instructor brake and instructor mirrors. The training vehicles are also equipped with orange traffic cones to assist in off roadway training exercises.

- Q?How do I know if my new teen driver is ready to drive with me?
-
A.
The Drivers Advantage has a system in place that will help parents identify if their teen is having problems learning to drive. The Segment One course includes an individual evaluation of each student’s progress behind the wheel and a final drive evaluation is sent home with each student for parent review.
Call the Drivers Advantage at 734-699-2290 to learn more about the individual evaluation we give to teen drivers to help parents identify whether or not their teen driver is ready to drive with them.
- Q?A student who is attending a segment one class scheduled a drive session and now must cancel. What is the policy?
-
A.
The student driver or parent/guardian should immediately notify the driving school at 734-699-2290. In the event of a driving appointment cancellation, a cancellation fee will be charged. No exceptions.
- Q?Where do I schedule my “drive-times”?
-
A.
During the first class session of the Segment one course, (student/parent session) each student will be provided a calender which will show driving times that the driving school has available. The class instructor will explain how to fill out the calender for use while schedulig driving sessions. All driving sessions will be scheduled by the classroom instructor. Once the driving session has been booked with the driving school, students will be provided with a copy of their drive schedule.
- Q?I am required to attend the traffic school seminar by a court, how does the court receive verification I attended the course?
-
A.
When you arrive to your class session your course instructor will provide each student with a reporting form that will be filled out during the class. It should be noted that at the conclusion of your course each student will be issued a certificate of completion that is acceptable to the court authorities. The Drivers Advantage shares attendance records directly to various courts that we work with. Please note that it is ultimately the students responsibility to verify that they have met all requirements set by the court to receive credit for attending this course. Should you have any further questions about this process please call the driving school.
- Q?I am running late or may miss the traffic school seminar can I still attend?
-
A.
Please note, attendance to the entire seminar is required to receive a certificate of completion, therefore, arriving late will prevent you from attending. No exceptions. If you miss your class you forfeit your tuition fee, however, you may re-register for another session. Please note you will be required to pay a rescheduling fee should this occur. It should also be noted that most courts have set time limits or due dates. Rescheduling with the driving school does not extend your grace period with the court to complete the course. Most courts will require a written request for an extension of time. Generally these extensions of time must be approved by the court to receive credit for attending.
